1. NK

Nordiska Kompaniet (Nordic Company) is considered one of Europe’s leading department stores, selling everything from food and fashion to toys, furniture and interior design items.
NK opened its doors for the first time in 1922, and is one of the oldest—and most exclusive—department stores in the city.
You’ll find all the classics here, together with lots, lots more. If you’re interested in style and interior design, then you should definitely pay this store a visit.

2. Plan Ett (First Floor)
At this stylish emporium you’ll find Scandinavian bestsellers like Bruno Mathsson, Jonas Bohlin and HAY, together with international brands like Designers Guild and Moooi. Oh, and don’t miss the toy department!

3. Nathalie Schuterman

4. Livly
Whether you have children of your own, or are just buying a souvenir for your niece, nephew or godchild, you should pay a visit to the fantastic Livly.
This is the place to find beautiful clothes for babies and young children. Many celebrity offspring, such as Sarah Jessica Parker’s twin daughters, have often been photographed in cute and adorable outfits from Livly.

5. Svenskt Tenn

This elegant store is one delightful mix of colour and assorted patterns.
The name Svenskt Tenn, which means ‘Swedish Pewter’ in English, dates back to the time when pewter items comprised the entire range of products on sale here. Textiles and wallpapers with geometrical patterns arrived on the scene with Austrian architect Josef Frank in the 1930s.
Svenskt Tenn is without doubt one of Sweden’s most influential design concepts, continuously releasing patterns and prints from their enormous archives.

6. Bruno Götgatsbacken
Bruno Götgatsbacken is a galleria where fashion and food meet. This mini shopping centre is a marketplace for both established and innovative fashion, mixing Scandinavian lines with international brands.
Here you’ll find eight shops, an Asian restaurant, a café and club, and chic fashion by labels including Aplace, Whyred, Hope and Filippa K.

7. Granit

Granit is the store for those who like a funky industrial style but also for those who like to keep things organised and are looking for tins, boxes, containers, office supplies and other smart, cool stuff.
At Granit you’ll also find travel bags, toiletry bags, spices, oils and various teas. It’s hard to leave this shop empty-handed.

Acne Studios is a stylish brand and the company is well known for its impressive shops
This is a brand also found in other cities, but Stockholm’s flagship is well worth a visit and is a must for all dedicated followers of fashion shopping in Stockholm.
Founded by Swedish-born designer Jonny Johansson in 1996, Acne is now renowned as a brand which blends art and fashion, as the collections draw inspiration from contemporary art and photography.
